When people think of Vegas, they usually think of drinking, debauchery, eloping, weddings, and general raucousness. Now while all that is certainly true, and then some, Vegas doesn’t have to be like that!

Beyond the drinking, partying, and gambling, Las Vegas actually has some of the best shows, food, and entertainment in the world! Highlights include:

  • The Book of Mormon
  • Lady Gaga
  • Cirque Du Soleil
  • Wicked
  • and more….

Don’t even get me started on the food. Some restaurants are just incredible! And that doesn’t even include some of the stellar buffets….

If Vegas turns out to not be for you, a trip to the Grand Canyon is a great way to spend a day.

Right now, there are some great flight prices ($125) for Minneapolis to Vegas for the next few months. Unfortunately, if you’re planning to leave on a Friday, you’d need to take a redeye back to get this price. But if you’ve got a bit more flexibility, you could arrive on a Saturday and leave on a Tuesday, arriving back in Minneapolis at 11PM for $125. It’s definitely a doable price!

Delta’s getting into this route too and they have the better schedule. There’s no need to take a red-eye with Delta at their prices. If you’re planning on bringing any luggage, Delta is definitely the better deal since their basic economy includes 1 carry on bag, whereas you’d have to pay to bring a bag on with Sun Country.
